The Special Event Site:
Greer Lodge Resort offers you its picturesque Red Setter Property on four (4) tree covered acres, with a mountain stream running through the middle of it, for your Corporate Retreat, Group Meeting, Church / Spiritual Retreat, or other Special Event.

This Special Event Property was formerly the world renowned “Red Setter Inn”, named by Fodor’s Travel Magazine in 2006, as one of the Top 10 Best Places to Stay in the World!

The 4 acre campus of the Special Event Property contains the Main Red Setter Lodge (now named Cabin #28) with 10 private bedrooms, 9 ½ bathrooms, a large dining / meeting area, three family rooms each with a fireplace, expansive covered decks, overlooking the Little Colorado River which is only a few steps from the decks.

Meeting rooms:
The Main Red Setter Lodge (Cabin #28) can easily seat 30 for dining or meeting purposes, and this can be expanded to seat up to 60 if needed.

Your group might want to consider renting the Buffalo private dining room at our 373 Grill Restaurant, for your day time meetings. It rents for a $500 per day (7am-4pm) facility fee, plus Food & Beverages.

Food & Beverages:
We can cater your Breakfast, Lunch and/or Dinner at your onsite meeting room.

You may want to consider renting our Buffalo Room (private dining room) at our 373 Grill Restaurant. It rents for a $500 per evening (5pm-9pm) facility fee, plus Food & Beverages, for your private dinner party (it can accommodate 40 dining guests).

$30 per adult and $10 per child, is a good budget figure to use for private dinner events in the Buffalo Room or catered in the dining room of Cabin 28, excluding alcohol.

Lodging Accommodations:
The Special Event Property has lodging on the 4 acre campus, in 5 luxurious log cabins.

A.    For Groups of up to 12 couples or singles, we suggest you rent Cabin #28 and the adjoining Cabin #15; so everyone has their own private bathroom. These cabins are featured below.

B.    For Groups between 12 and 17 couples or singles, we suggest you rent Cabin #28, the adjoining Cabin #15, Cabin #27, Cabin #13, and Cabin #14; so everyone has their own private bathroom. These cabins are featured below.

C.    For Groups larger than 17 couples or singles, we have plenty of additional Lodging (Cabins, River Townhomes and Lodge Rooms) on the balance of the Greer Lodge Resort property.

Event Coordinator:
We can provide the names of independent Event Coordinators, should you want to engage someone to help you in this regard. Please keep in mind, these independent Event Coordinators are NOT affiliated with the Greer Lodge Resort and we are NOT responsible for their relationship with you.

The Rules:

1.    We have guidelines on what you can and can’t do on the Property regarding tents, outdoor parties / events, live entertainment, loud music, decorating, importing of equipment, etc, so please discuss this with us prior to booking your event. Basically, we do NOT allow any vehicles on the grounds (except in the parking lots), or anything that may permanently damage the property in any way. Loud noise is not allowed. We do not want to disturb our neighboring properties. Fire is a concern as we are in the National Forest, so any outside fires or heaters must be approved by us.

2.    We require a Non-refundable Payment in Full at the time you book your Lodging. There is a 2 night minimum stay required.

3.    We require a Non-refundable Payment in Full at the time you reserve the Buffalo Dining / Meeting Room for your day meeting or private dining event.

4.    All Food & Beverage for catered or private meals, must be paid for at least 30 days prior to the event, and is considered Non-refundable at the time of payment.

5.    Sorry, pets and animals of any kind are prohibited.

6.    Absolutely No smoking in any buildings.
