a. If you make your reservation within 14 days of your arrival, the entire amount of your stay is due at the time you make your reservation, and it is non-refundable and non-changeable for any reason. It must be paid over the telephone at the time you make your reservation with a valid Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit or debit card (herein “Credit Card”), and you must give us the Credit Card number, security code, exact billing address of the Credit Card, expiration date, and name exactly as it appears on the Credit Card.
If you cancel your reservation after it is paid for, we will give you a credit for a future stay within 12 months. There are no refunds for any reason.
b. If you make your reservation more than 14 days prior to your arrival, you must give us the Credit Card number, security code, exact billing address of the Credit Card, expiration date, and name exactly as it appears on the Credit Card, at the time you make your reservation with the understanding that you authorize the entire amount of you stay to be charged to your Credit Card 14 days prior to your arrival.
We will charge your Credit Card the entire amount of your stay including any applicable Dog Fees, and; any applicable fees for Additional Persons in the Cabin or Room over the standard occupancy; plus 9.8% Tax/Fees. In the event your Credit Card is denied when we attempt to make the above charges, we reserve the right to offer the Cabin or Room for rental to other guests without prior notice.
If you cancel your Reservation after it is paid for, we will give you a credit for a future stay within 12 months. There are no refunds for any reason. c. Group Reservations and Weekly Reservations must be paid for in full at the time of reservation and are Non-Refundable and Non-Changeable for any reason. If you cancel your Group or Weekly Reservation after it is paid for, but prior to 14 days of your arrival, we will give you a credit for a future stay within 12 months. There are no refunds for any reason. If you cancel your Group or Weekly Reservation less than 14 days prior to your arrival, there is no refund or credit for future stay. d. Advance Purchase Reservations must be paid for in full at the time of reservation and are NonRefundable and Non-Changeable for any reason.
If you cancel your Advance Purchase Reservation after it is paid for, but prior to 14 days of your arrival, we will give you a credit for a future stay within 12 months. There are no refunds for any reason. If you cancel Advance Purchase Reservation less than 14 days prior to your arrival, there is no refund or credit for future stay. e. At check-in you will have to sign our Check-In Form and give us your Credit Card to swipe.
Full Kitchen. Pots, pans & cooking utensils. Eating utensils, glassware, & dishware. Kitchen towels. There is absolutely no food or spices in any of the Greer Lodge cabin retnals, so please be sure to bring your own food.
Coffee Maker & Coffee Filters. We do NOT provide Coffee, so be sure to bring you own.
Outside BBQ Grills: A propane gas bbq grill is provided for each Cabin; when you are finished please turn off the propane tank. The propane is complimentary, and limited to 3 gallons per visit. If you need additional propane gas, contact management and we will provide additional propane for an additional charge, subject to availability. A Charcoal bbq grill is also provided for each Cabin (some are shared with other Cabins). You need to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Outside bbq grills of any kind may NOT be used on Red Flag Days. If you are in doubt about Red Flag Days call us at 928-225-7620 or 928-735-2304 or call the Greer Fire District at 928-735-7279.
The number and size of beds and fold down sofa beds or sofa sleepers are listed on our website under the individual Cabin descriptions. The maximum number allowed in a Cabin is listed on our website, for instance “Cabin Sleeps 6”. You may have up to 2 additional persons in a Cabin over the maximum for $20pppn (we do not provide any additional bedding for guests over the standard occupancy).
Flat Screen Television with complimentary Satellite Direct TV and DVD player.
Hand Soap at Sinks. We do NOT provide Shampoo, Conditioner or Shower/Tub Soap or Bubble Bath Soap/Granules.
1 Bath Towel and Hand Towel per person. Sheets. 1 Pillow per person. 1 Blanket per bed. To remain complaint with the CDC guidelines, we no longer provide Wash Cloth Towels in our cabin rentals.
Toilet Paper.
We do NOT provide daily housekeeping service. We clean your Cabin after you check-out. If you are staying for more than 2 nights, we will provide fresh towels & sheets, upon request after the 2nd night.
In cold weather, if you want to change the temperature in your cabin, just use the “up” or “down” button to set the desired temperature, up to a maximum of 71 degrees. This “Setback” thermostat is programmed to automatically Setback to a maximum temperature of 68 degrees at 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 6:00 PM, and 10:00 PM every day. If you want to increase the temperature after a Setback, simply use the up button again, up to a maximum temperature of 71 degrees. Thank you for helping us conserve our precious energy. Please do NOT try to open the thermostat, pull it off the wall, or otherwise damage it. If the thermostat is damaged, the credit card on file will be charged for the costs of replacement and repairs.
These thermostats are a standard in the industry for cold climates. Conscientious landlords such as us, do this to conserve earth’s precious energy, do our part in preserving our planet, and to keep our rental rates as low as possible.
Food & Drinks: For our Cabin guests, we suggest you get your groceries in the big city such as Phoenix, Tucson, Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside and Springerville-Eagar. The Lazy Trout Convenience Market in Greer has limited supply of groceries. The closest Bashas and Safeway Grocery Stores are 15 miles away in Springerville-Eagar.
Clothing & Additional Blankets: Greer is at 8400’ elevation and temperatures are usually 30 degrees cooler than Phoenix and Tucson. Be sure to check the Weather Report for Greer Temperatures and Weather Conditions. The evenings in Summer are cool and usually require a sweater. Some of our guests bring extra blankets for the cool temperatures; we provide only 1 blanket per bed.
Games to Play: Many of our guests bring Board Games, Playing Cards, etc.
DVD Movies: Bring your own DVD movies. DVD movies may also be rented out for free by guests at the front desk, 7 days a week from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Fishing Poles: Fishing is very popular in Greer. There are 630 miles of trout streams and 22 lakes within a 30 mile radius of Greer; so fishing is very popular. If you want to go fishing for trout, you will need to bring your own fishing equipment.
In Winter, you might want to bring snow removal items for your vehicle including windshield ice scraper, snow brush, and snow shovel to remove snow that can accumulate around your parked car during a snow fall.
Check-out Time is 10 a.m. Our Office is located at 80 Main Street. Return your key to the office. If you depart early, please leave your key(s) on the table and lock the door behind you.
Close all windows and doors. Turn the Thermostat down to 60 degrees upon departure. Thank you for helping us conserve energy.
Put interior and exterior furniture back in the same location that you found it. Clean the pots, pans, utensils, dishware and glassware. Otherwise, a cleaning fee will be applied. And in the event that the cabin is left completely and excessively dirty, you could be fined by the Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins.

Hike along a stream, through the National Forest in any direction. Beginner trails, Intermediate trails, and Expert trails are abundant in the Greer area.
Fishing is very popular. Remember to bring your own fishing equipment.

Horseback Riding in the area. The Sprucedale (Reservations: 928-245-3513) and Snow Mountain Stables (Reservations: 928-205-7607) are among the most popular. Call directly for reservations. Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins is NOT affiliated with these companies; we mention it here for the convenience of our guests.

The roads are plowed consistently by the County; and kept open nearly 100% of the time.
During a snow storm, the roads will be plowed and open, but there can be an accumulation of snow in the parking lots and on foot paths leading to / from your Room or Cabin and your vehicle. In Winter, you might want to bring snow removal items for your vehicle including windshield ice scraper, snow brush, and snow shovel to remove snow that can accumulate around your parked car during a snow fall. Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins does have a limited number of snow shovels available in the Office for guest use at no charge.
• T-Mobile: Brand New T-Mobile / Cell One Tower with 3G, 4G, LTE including High Speed Internet, is next door to the Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins. Your T-Mobile or Cell One cell phone should get great reception and your phone connection to the tower should give you good access to the internet.
• Verizon: New Verizon Tower with 3G, 4G, LTE including High Speed Internet, is located in the Town of Greer, approximately 3 miles away from Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins. Your Verizon cell phone should get great reception and your phone connection to the tower should give you good access to the internet.
• Sprint: Acquired by T-Mobile in 2020. Contact your provider to see if your Sprint Phone can access the T-Mobile / Cellular One Tower.
• AT&T: Most of our AT&T phone users say its good reception/service. Some say its bad. Please phone provider for more information.
If your Cell Phone does not have good service during your stay, you can rent one of Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins’ Private Portable Hot Spot Devices for $20 per day and you can have your Cell Phone access the Wi-Fi Network on your Rented Hot Spot Device to give your Cell Phone (regardless of your Cell Phone provider) good phone service as well as having access to high speed internet.
If the Portable Jet Pack / Hot Spot Device is lost, stolen or damaged, additional fees will apply at check-out.

Greer has its’ own Greer Fire Department, which gets high reviews from guests and property owners in Greer. Their Fire Station is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Visit the Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins Office at 80 Main Street. If no one is in the Office, you may use the complimentary exterior wall mounted land line telephone located next to the Office door; with free long distance calling. The phone numbers for the Manager on Duty are posted next to the telephone.
